Zubrot are all our products that are not bread or pastries. This might be honey, jam, milk or even cheese. These are organic groceries we like especially. Supplied by people and businesses we like especially. Because “Öfferl” has evolved, so to speak, from an organic bakery into a community of shared values. A community which shares respect for nature. And, of course, good taste.

Why Georg Rhorauer’s bees can collect both honeydew and pollen? Because mixed forest and herb meadow are only a (bees) hop away.

Members of the family Marksteiner have already been running their farm in accordance with organic and biodynamic principles since 1986. Back then “organic” has been anything but popular. On the contrary, at the time an organic farmer was a rarity, an exception. Maybe that is why their demeter certified milk products taste so exceptionally good?
